Day 1 | Welcome to Lima! Meet and greet service at the airport and van transfer to the hotel of your choice for a two-night stay with breakfast included.
Day 2 | Lima Sightseeing Excursion | B. In the morning, enjoy a fantastic tour through Lima’s streets and plazas, starting at the Love Park in Miraflores, where you can admire mosaics and sculptures inspired by Gaudi’s Park Guell in Barcelona as well as sweeping views out over the Pacific coastline, and then heading to the Huaca Pucllana, the ancient ruins of a ceremonial center of the pre-Inca Lima culture. Then, continue exploring San Isidro, the financial center of the city where you will travel back through the centuries to the pre-Incan, pyramid-shaped shrine of Huaca Huallamarca.
Your Lima City Tour will continue on the Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site marked by its colonial architecture, all centered on the sprawling and elegant Plaza Mayor. Visit the cathedral, which houses the tomb of Spanish Conqueror Fransisco Pizarro. Cross the plaza to marvel at the incredibly ornate facade of the Archbishop’s Palace, and stand on the neoclassical steps of the Palace of Justice. As you move on, admire the wooden balconies of the Baroque Torre Tagle Palace.
Important Note: The Cathedral of Lima is not open to tourists on Saturday afternoons and Sunday morning.
Day 3 | Lima / Arequipa – Discover the White City | B. Breakfast at the hotel followed by a transfer to the Lima airport to catch the departing flight to Arequipa (airfare is not included – we recommend booking a flight arriving to Arequipa on or before 11:00 am). On arrival, meet and greet service and transfer to the hotel of your choice for an overnight stay with breakfast included. The morning is at leisure to give you time to get accustomed the Andean altitude. During the afternoon, our tour of the White City will take you to visit the Main Square, the Cathedral, the Cloisters, the Compania de Jesus Church, the colonial district of Yanahuara, the San Lazaro neighborhood, the Chilina ravine and the residential area of Selva Alegre, and the Santa Catalina Monastery which was closed for almost 400 years and now captivates all visitors with its narrow passages, plazas and gardens inspired by the ancient neighborhoods of Seville and Granada, Spain.
Day 4 | Arequipa to Colca Valley / Sightseeing en-route | B.L. After breakfast, we set off to the spectacular Colca Valley going up the foothills of Chachani volcano and admiring the Misti and Picchu Picchu Volcanoes. Then we cross the vicunas (the finest relative of the llamas) reservation of Pampa Canahuas where we can see them running free in the high Andean lands. Interesting panoramas of villages and scenic landscape is all around. Stop for lunch on our way to the lodge. Free afternoon to rest and enjoy the lodge or an optional visit to the thermal baths in the area. We will stay overnight in the Colca Valley at the hotel of your choice with breakfast included.

Early in the morning we will go to the Condor Cross viewpoint to admire the magnificent flight of the condors. The Andean Condor is the symbol of the Andes Mountain Range and is a species on the brink of extinction. The view at this place allows us to appreciate the canyons depth, considered as one of the deepest in the world (twice the depth of the Grand Canyon). We will then visit the Maca and Yanque towns which still keep their colonial churches. After lunch, we will continue with the expedition with a scenic drive to the lake side city of Puno for a two-night stay at the hotel of your choice with breakfast included.

Transfer to the pier to board a touring boat for a full day exploration of Lake Titicaca. First we will visit the Uros; the friendly inhabitants of these handmade floating islands made of totora reeds. Then it’s off to Taquile Island; a place in which the settlers still maintain their ancestral traditions and colorful typical clothes. There is a great opportunity to explore the island and get the best view of the lake. A typical lunch is provided in the Island. Return to the city in the afternoon.
Day 7 | Puno / Cusco, a Journey through the Andes | B.L. You will depart on a tour bus to Cusco. En-route, we will stop to visit the Pucara Museum, and Racchi, the Temple of Wiracocha where the walls and narrow streets stand out. At lunch time we have the opportunity to see the view at La Raya, the natural border between Puno and Cusco. Before our final destination, we will stop at Andahuaylillas for a visit to its beautiful chapel. We will arrive in Cusco by the end of the afternoon for a three-night stay at the hotel of your choice with breakfast included.
Day 8 | Discover the ancient city of Cusco | B. The Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park Half-Day Tour will take you on a deep exploration of the Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman. From Cusco, we will drive up the mountains for 10 minutes to visit the nearby archaeological sites. The first stop will be Tambomachay, a source of spring water that is believed to be worshiped by the Incas; many believe it could have served as a spa for the elite of the Inca leaders. The site remains spiritual and the water still flows today. Next, we will visit the remains of Qenqo, a stone made labyrinth with a sacrificial altar in its center. Consisting of staircases and channels, the site of Qenqo is believed to have held many Incan rituals. Our tour will continue on to the famous Sacsayhuaman Fortress where you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Cusco. Sacsayhuaman boasts impressive Inca design and artwork with massive stones over 9 meters (30 feet) tall and weighing up to 125 tons. Many of the stones have peculiar placement and designs, such as the condor, puma and snake which represented the three Inca worlds. Before returning to your hotel in Cusco, our last stop will be at the Tower of Puca Pucara.
In the afternoon our exclusive half-day, Cusco City Tour starts at San Cristobal Plaza to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. We will then visit Saint Peter’s market, where we will be able to appreciate the local flavors and learn about some of the local ingredients that contribute to the world-famous Peruvian gastronomy. We will then continue to the Koricancha Temple that will welcome us with its splendor. The Golden Precinct is the meaning of its name in Quechua and we can still feel the sumptuousness of its walls that were once lined in gold sheets. From Saint Blas, the craftsmen’s quarters we will walk down along the Hatun Rumiyoc street, finding midway the Inca Roca Palace, today the Archbishop’s Palace; and we will have time to appreciate the worldwide famous Stone of the Twelve Angles. We will go on to the Main Square to visit the Cathedral that houses invaluable colonial works of art.
Important Note: People are not allowed to enter religious sites wearing shorts. Taking photos is not allowed inside the Cathedral.
Day 9 | Cusco at leisure | B. You will have a free day to continue exploring the charming city of Cusco at your own pace.

Our first stop will be at Awanacancha, a cultural center where one can learn about the Andean camelids such as alpacas and llamas, traditional dyeing and knitting techniques, as well as the most representative Andean crops. Then, we will continue to the picturesque town of Pisac where you can purchase beautifully crafted products hand-made by local artisans. On Sunday, the main attraction is a mass celebrated in Quechua and traditional music played with traditional musical instruments. Afterwards, a typical Peruvian lunch will be served at a local restaurant before visiting the fortress of Ollantaytambo and its main attraction, the Temple of the Sun. Built using massive stones, each one approximately 12 feet (3.5m) tall, this temple was used as a fortress during the time of the Inca civil war. Overnight stay at the hotel of your choice with breakfast included.
